DESCRIPTION:
AVZOLE contains Albendazole, which is a third generation benzimidazole compound highly efficacious against immature and matur e gastro-intestinal roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms and liver fluke infestations in animals.

AVZOLE 2.5% equivalent to Albendazole USP: 25 mg

INDICATIONS:
AVZOLE is used to combat infestations caused by parasites of different classes, such as nematodes (gastro-intestinal and lung nematodes) cestodes and trematodes such as liver flukes. As a broad spectrum anthelmintic, it is recommended in the strategic and seasonal control of parasitic infections.The spectrum of activity of AVZOLE includes
Ruminants: Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Nematodirus, Bunostomum, Oesophagostomum, Strongyloides, Dictyocaulus, Moniezia, Fasciola sp., Dicrocoelium sp.
Dog and Cat: Canine hookworms, ascarids, whipworms, tapeworm, lung fluke, lung nematode and bladder worm.
USES:
Albendazole is an anthelmintic (an-thel-MIN-tik) or anti-worm medication. It prevents newly hatched insect larvae (worms) from growing or multiplying in your body.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
For round worms and tape worms
Dogs and cats : 1 ml/kg b.wt
Cattle, Buffalo, Calves, sheep & goat : 1 ml/3-5 kg b.wt
For flukes Cattle, Buffalo, Calves, sheep & goat : 2 ml/3-5 kg b.wt
Multiple dosing of AVZOLE at 2 to 3 week’s interval enhances the flukicidal activity in cattle, sheep and goats.
