DOTFAR contains Ceftiofur Sodium which is an antibiotic of the 3rd generation cephalosporin, licensed for use in veterinary medicine. Against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

Genital tract infection
Metritis, Endometritis, Pyometra and Repeat breeding.
Respiratory tract infection
BRD, Pneumonia and Shipping fever.
Acute bovine interdigital necrobacillosis
Foot rot, Pod dermatitis
Ceftiofur sodium is used in cattle and pigs for treatment and control of infections caused by susceptible pathogens.
It is registered for treatment of respiratory disease and interdigital necrobacillosis (foot rot) in lactating cows in many countries.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
Cattle, sheep & Goat :
1.1 to 2.2 mg/kg b.wt. to 2 ml (after reconstitution) / 45.45 kg b.wt.IM use only, once daily for 3-5 days.
2.2 mg / kg b.wt.IM use only, once daily for 3 to 5 days.
2.2 mg / kg b.wt. or 2 ml (after reconstitution) 45.45 kg SC use only,once daily for 5 to 14 days.Camel:2.2 mg / kg b.wt. by IM once daily for 3 to 5 days.
2.2 to 4.4 mg / kg b.wt. or 1 to 2ml (after reconstitution) 22.72 kg b.wt.IM use only, once daily for 5 to 14 days.
3 to 5 mg / kg b.wt. or 1 to 1.7 ml (after reconstitution) 16.66 kg b.wt.IM use only, once daily for 5 to 14 days.
(one-day old):0.08 to 0.2 mg / chick,SC use only in the neck region (1 g vial after reconstitution with 20 ml water for injection will treat approximately)5,000 to 12,500 day-old chick.
(day-old poults):0.17 to 0.5 mg/poult,SC use only or as advised by the veterinarian.
