OXYDOT-LA

DESCRIPTION:

OXYDOT-LA contains drug Oxytetracycline dihydrate, is specially formulated to provide sustained antibiotic blood levels up to 4 days in cattle and pigs following a single treatment.

OXYDOT-LA is a sterile, long acting stable aqueous solution containing oxytetracycline dihydrate equivalent to 200 mg oxytetracycline base per ml.

OXYDOT-LA injectable solution combines broad spectrum effectiveness against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, with prolonged antibiotic blood levels up to 4 days duration following a single treatment.

OXYDOT-LA yields higher blood levels during the first 24 hours and comparable levels up to 48 hours.

COMPOSITION:
Oxytetracycline dihydrate        I.P.          200 mg.

INDICATION:

Cattle :

• Bacterial pneumonia

• Pasteurellosis

• Mastitis

• Metritis

• Calf scours (bacterial enteritis)

• Foot rot

• Navel ill

• Calf diphtheria

• Leptospirosis

• Blackleg/malignant edema

• Peritonitis

• Joint ill.

Swine :

• Erysipelas

• Eacterial enteritis

• Leptospirosis

• Metritis

• Mastitis

• Bacterial pneumonia.

Sheep and goats:

• Heartwater

• Pneumonia

• Foot rot

• Joint ill

• Navel ill.

DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:

By I.M or S.C route only.

Cattle : 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight

Swine : 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight.

Sheep and goats : 1 ml / 10 Kg body mass. In sheep and goats over 50 kg, the dose should be divided and administered at 2 different sites.
