Description
Formulated for professional veterinary use within our veterinary liquid injections portfolio, DOTPROFEN is an advanced ketoprofen-based NSAID injection designed to provide dependable anti-inflammatory support, targeted pain relief, and musculoskeletal comfort for livestock and companion animals.
DOTPROFEN contains KETOPROFEN which is a potent, non-narcotic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent with analgesic and anti-pyretic properties. While distribution characteristics are still under investigation, the drug does enter the synovial fluid and is highly bound to plasma proteins. KETOPROFEN is eliminated via kidneys both a conjugated metabolite and unchanged drug.

Benzyl Alcohol I.P.
INDICATION :-
Cattle, Buffaloes, Camels, Sheep & Goats :
- Pyrexia and Distress
- Mastitis
- Udder Edema
- Milk Fever
- Lameness of traumatic origin, osteitis, arthrosis, arthritis, tendinitis, laminitis and myositis.
- Post-surgical inflammation.
Horse :
- Colic
- Pyrexia and Distress
- Lameness of traumatic origin, osteitis, arthrosis, arthritis, tendinitis, laminitis and myositis.
- Post-surgical inflammation.
Pigs :
- Pyrexia and Distress
- Mastitis
- Metritis Agalactia Syndrome
- Lameness and Trauma related painful conditions
Dogs & Cats :
- Fever
- Pain
- Post-Surgical Inflammation
- Arthritis
DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-
Cattle, Buffaloes, Camels, Pig, Sheep & Goats :
3 mg / kg body weight (1 ml / 33 kg body weight)
By I.M, I.V, or SC, SID route for 3 – 5 days
Horses :
2.2 mg / kg body weight (1 ml / 45 kg body weight)
By I.V, SID route for 3 – 5 days
Dogs & Cats :
2 mg / kg body weight (1 ml / 50 kg body weight)
By SID, I.M, S.C or I.V route for 3 – 4 days
RECOMMENDATIONS :-
- Do not mix with any other substance in a syringe.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :-
- Do not administer to animals destined for human consumption until 4 days after I.M injection, and 1 day after I.V injection.
- As for other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID’s), DOTPROFEN is contraindicated in cases of severe kidney failure, in combination with other NSAIDs, or with diuretics or anti-coagulants.
- Do not administer to an animal that has already developed hypersensitivity to ketoprofen.
