QUINAPYRAMINE SULPHATE & QUINAPYRAMINE CHLORIDE INJECTION
Description
DOTQUIN is a combination of QUINAPYRAMINE SULPHATE & QUINAPYRAMINE CHLORIDE salts.
COMPOSITION :-
Each vial (2.5 g) contains:
Quinapyramine Sulphate B. Vet.C. 1.5 g.
Quinapyramine Chloride B. Vet.C. 1.0 g.
INDICATION :-
- Trypanosomiasis
DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-
By S.C route generally as 10% suspension
By I.M route if it is 5% suspension
In Cattle, the common sites are behind the shoulder, the mid-line of dewlap, or the caudal fold.
In Horses, the normal site is in front of the shoulder.
PREPARATION OF SUSPENSION :-
2.5 gm to be mixed in 15 ml water for injection. The reconstituted suspension should be shaken well and should be used IMMEDIATELY.
