COCCIDOT
Anti-Coccidial Tonic For Poultry .
Description
Coccidia is extremely common in poultry raising operations, but infections in birds occur when they ingest large amounts of sporulated oocysts. These oocysts are transmitted through equipment, insects, clothing, and farmworkers. When birds become infected and even after recovery, they shed oocysts in droppings, contaminating the entire enclosure. Oocysts can sporulate within two days in optimal conditions.
Coccidiosis is one of the serious infections affecting poultry birds as the protozoa infect different sites of the intestines. Depending on the strain and species of the protozoa parasite, different parts of the intestines may get infected. The infection spreads rapidly in 4-to 7 days, and in serious cases, it can affect the entire intestine. As a result, birds experience severe damage to the intestinal mucosa. Decreased growth rate and decreased production are the direct results of coccidiosis infection.
COCCIDOT is the best coccidiosis supplement for poultry that effectively prevents and treats coccidiosis infections.
When the birds are always kept on wired floors away from their droppings, the occurrence of coccidiosis can be effectively contained. Vaccines are given to one-day-old chicks with live sporulated oocysts to help the immune system to develop resistance. However, vaccines are not useful in completely eliminating coccidiosis because there are numerous strains of protozoa available in poultry-enclosed houses. The vaccines don’t offer complete protection against the infection. The best way to prevent and treat coccidiosis is to use anticoccidial drugs.
COCCIDOT tonic is the safest and most effective coccidiostat used in poultry farming. It effectively eliminates all strains of coccidian protozoa. It helps in eliminating the contaminants in the atmosphere. As a result, birds are not exposed to large volumes of sporulated oocysts, effectively preventing infections. Ionophore compounds commonly used in preventing diseases are not as effective as COCCIDOT. It is the safest option for birds as it kills the protozoa without causing any problem for the birds.
COCCIDOT is also compatible with different types of chemicals commonly used in poultry farming. These chemicals and antibiotics are not helpful in preventing coccidiosis, but the addition of COCCIDOT to regular feed makes the enclosed house much safer for the birds.
Due to the extensive use of various anticoccidial drugs, drug-resistant parasites are on the rise. Compared to the other anticoccidial drugs, COCCIDOT is highly effective in preventing and treating coccidiosis.
