ENRODOT-DS Enrofloxacin Injection (DOUBLE STRENGTH)

ENRODOT-DS is an injectable solution that contains ENROFLOXACIN, a third generation quinolone as active substance in long action vehicle. ENROFLOXACIN inhibits DNA synthesis in nucleus of bacterial cell. The DNA has a length of more than a thousand microns and is content inside the bacteria that generally measures between 1 & 2 microns, which indicates that is condensed thoroughly and strongly in a very small space inside the cell chromosome. During the bacterial multiplication phase, the DNA folds and unfolds in alternate way. This process is essentially controlled by the DNA gyrase enzyme and the ENROFLOXACIN inhibits this enzymatic system causing a collapse in the bacterial metabolism avoiding that the vital information can be copied from the bacterial DNA. Thus, ENROFLOXACIN is an effective Bactericidal Agent.

Benzyl Alcohol         I.P.     1.5% v/v
