Description

DOTALEX contains BUPARVAQUONE is injection with fast and longer duration of action. It is active against both the schizont and piroplasm stages. BUPARVAQUONE is a second – generation hydroxynaphthoquinone related to parvaquone. DOTALEX directly inhibits the respiration of Theileria parasites – (Theileria parva, T. annulata, T. mutans, and T. orientalis)

COMPOSITION :-
Buparvaquone              50 mg

INDICATION :-

  • Bovine theileriosis 
  • East Coast Fever
  • January Disease
  • Corridor disease
  • Tropical theileriosis 

 

DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-

By I.M route only. 
Inject at Neck muscles, not more than 10 ml at same site.
1 ml / 20 kg Body Weight of DOTPLEX
In severe cases 2nd dose is required after 48 – 72 hours.

CONTRA-INDICATION :-
I.V & S.C route of administration are forbidden.
Vaccinate after clinical improvement.
Use antibiotic to control second infectious.
