Description

FRUVET contains drug FUROSEMIDE is used in dogs and cats to promote diuresis and manage fluid retention.

COMPOSITION :–
Each ml contains:
Furosemide                   I.P          50 mg
Benzyl Alcohol              I.P          1% v/v
(As preservative)
Water for Injection       I.P          q.s.

INDICATION :-

  • Subcutaneous oedema
  • Congestive oedema
  • Protein deficiency oedema 
  • Oedema due to vascular lesions
  • Pathological oedema 
  • Ascites
  • Hydrothorax
  • Bronchopneumonia
  • Hydropericardium
  • Laminitis
  • Paralytic myoglobinuria 
  • False pregnancy  

 

DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-

By I.M or I.V route only.
Large Animal    : 5 – 10 ml
Dog & Cat          : 0.25 – 0.5 ml
Pig                       : 1 ml / 10 kg b.wt.

Treatment may be repeated at 6 – 8 hour interval, if needed.

PRESENTATION :-
Vial of 10 ml.
