COMPOSITION :-
Each gm contains:
Chloramphenicol I.P. 200 mg.
INDICATION :-
- Bacterial Enteritis
- Blood loose droppings
- Salmonellosis
- Respiratory tract infections.
DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-
FOR POULTRY MEDICATION :
1 gm in 5 liters of water or 50 gm in 100 kg. Feed CHLORAMPHENICOL solution should be made every day and only medicated water should be allowed for 3 to 5 days during treatment. Double the dose for the breeders.
FOR LARGE ANIMALS & SMALL ANIMALS :
50 mg CHLORAMPHENICOL / kg body weight per day for 3 to 5 days in water or feed. Withdraw treatment 5 days before slaughter.
