Description

ALBADOT Oral Suspension is formulated by using ALBENDAZOLE. 

COMPOSITION :-

Albendazole    I.P   25 mg 

INDICATION :-

  • Round worms
  • Lung worms
  • Tapeworms
  • Amphistomes
  • Liver flukes
  • Gastrointestinal and Pulmonary nematodiasis
  • Taeniasis
  • Estodes
  • Trematodes

 

DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-

By Oral route.

Dosage varies according to the kind of parasite.

Against gastrointestinal nematodiasis : 3.8 mg/ kg of b.w. (6 ml of ALBADOT Oral 2.5% / 40 kg of b.w.)

Against pulmonary nematodiasis : 7.5 mg/ kg of b.w. (12 ml of ALBADOT Oral 2.5% / 40 kg of b.w.)

Against liver fluke due to Fasciola hepatica : 10 mg / kg of b.w. (16 ml of ALBADOT Oral 2.5% / 40 kg of b.w.)

Against liver fluke due to Dicrocoelium dendriticum : 15 mg / kg of b.w. (24 ml of ALBADOT Oral 2.5%/ 40 kg of b.w.)

Acute infections or in severe epizootiological cases : 15 mg / kg of b.w. is recommended.

For round worms / tape worms :
Cattle Buffaloes, Horse, Sheep & Goat : 5 – 7.5 mg / kg , body weight (100kg) – 20 – 30ml

Dog & Cat : 25 – 30 mg / kg , body weight (10 kg) – 10 – 12 ml

For Flukes :
Cattle , Buffaloes : 10 mg / kg body weight (100 kg) – 40 ml

Sheep, Goat : 7.5 mg / kg body weight (30 kg) – 9 ml
