D-CLOTE Ethamsylate Injection
D-CLOTE contains ETHAMSYLATE, is a synthetic hemostatic drug indicated in cases of capillary bleeding.
ETHAMSYLATE acts on the first step of hemostasis by improving platelet adhesiveness and restoring capillary resistance.
COMPOSITION :-
Each ml contains:
Ethamsylate B.P. 125 mg.
Benzyl Alcohol I.P. 9 mg.
(As preservative)
Water for Injection I.P. q.s.
INDICATION :-
- Surgery
- Trauma
- Bleeding Wounds
- Difficult parturition
- Mastitis with blood or clots
- Haematuria
- Haemoglobinurea
DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-
By I.M or I.V route only.
Large animals : 6-8 mg / Kg Body Weight or 20-30 ml.
Repeat if necessary.
