FLUNIXIN MEGLUMINE works by inhibiting the body’s production of prostaglandins and other chemicals that stimulate the body’s inflammatory response. Some of these actions may be dose-dependent. FLUNIXIN MEGLUMINE gets quickly absorbed into the blood stream; pain relief and fever reduction usually starts within one to two hours.

COMPOSITION :-
Each ml contains:
Flunixin Meglumine U.S.P.
eqv. to Flunixin
Water for Injection I.P.

INDICATION :-

Cattle, Sheep, Goat, Camel :

• Inflammation
• Pyrexia
• Mastitis
• Respiratory disease
• Endotoxemia metritis.

Pigs :

• Swine respiratory disease.

Horse :

• Musculo-skeletal disorder.

Dogs :

• Fever
• Inflammation
• Endotoxemia or Sepsis.

DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-

Cattle, Sheep & Goat :
By slow I.V or I.M route only.
1.1 mg to 2.2 mg / kg body weight

OR

1 ml to 2 ml / 45 kg body weight

Dogs :
By slow I.V or I.M route only.
1 mg / kg body weight given

Camel :
By slow I.V or I.M route only.
1.1 mg to 2.2 mg / kg body weight

OR

1 ml to 2 ml / 45 kg body weight

Horse :
By slow I.V route only.
1.1 mg / kg body weight

OR

1 ml / 45 kg body weight, once daily up to 3 – 5 days.

Pigs :
By S.C or slow I.V route only.
1 mg to 2 mg / kg body weight
