SCABEE injection is formulated taking into account the common and frequently encountered dermatological problems in domestic animals owing to unhygienic conditions of dwelling. Restriction on the movement of animal and lack of effort by the owner contribution to precipitate the problem, as does lack of quarantine measures. Topical medications mostly remains at the site of application and the animal tries to remove it by licking, rubbing, the affected area against various objects. Thus, reducing the contact time and efficacy of the drug in use. Preservation of the medication at the site applied requires partial, and sometimes complete immobilization of the animals.

This injection assures efficient action. SCABEE‘s sulphur exerts an anti-fungal action while benzyl benzoate is scabicide, pendiculicied and acaricide. Lidocaine in SCABEE minimizes the pain at the site of injection while base oil avoid rapid absorption ensuring a long term effect. Benzyl alcohol, added in SCABEE as a preservative, provides a bacteriostatic action and relief from pruritus too, thereby enhancing the rate of recovery.

COMPOSITION :-

Sulphur I.P.
Benzyl Benzoate I.P.
Lidocaine base U.S.P.

INDICATION :-

• Scabies of Dogs / Sheep / Goat / Camel
• Dermatitis of small / large animal
• Parasitic infection
• Pediculosis in Livestock.

DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-
By S.C route Only.
Dogs : 0.5 – 1 ml for 3 – 5 Days
Sheep / Goat / Calves / foal : 3 – 5 ml for 3 – 5 Days
Large Animals : 5 ml for 3 – 5 Days.

To be repeated as per case requirement
