Description

CHLOROSTIN contains CHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE is an alkylamine derivative, most potent drug enlisted in leading pharmacopoeias. It has Rapid onset of action with Longer duration of action and prolonged half-life. It has better penetration in the tissues.

COMPOSITION :–
Each ml contains:
Chlorpheniramine Maleate      I.P.    10 mg
Phenylmercuric Nitrate             I.P.    0.002% w/v
(As preservative)
Water for injection                     I.P.    q.s.

INDICATION :-

• Pruritis
• Urticaria
• Pyoderma
• Moist eczema
  
• Immunodeficiency Mediated Dermatitis
• Pulmonary emphysema in Horse
• Bloat & Ketoacidosis in Ruminants
• Mastitis
• Metritis
• Retained placenta
• Pregnancy toxaemia
• Laminitis
• Rhinitis
• Burns
• Gut Edema
• Myoglobinuria
• Azoturia

 

DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :–

By I.M & I.V route only.
Cattle                            : 30-50 mg (Total dose)
Sheep, Goat & Pigs    : 10-20 mg (Total dose)
Dog                               : 0.4-2 mg/kg b. wt twice daily

As directed by the veterinarian.
