Description
VETOVIL contains PHENIRAMINE MALEATE which provides quick relief from allergic manifestations. PHENIRAMINE MALEATE injection is recommended in all inflammatory conditions where histamine is liberated due to the tissue damage.
COMPOSITION :-
Each ml contains:
Pheniramine Maleate I.P. 22.75 mg
INDICATION :-
- Itching of unknown genesis and of various localization
- Eczema
- Dermatitis
- Urticaria
- Skin oedema
- Insect bites
- Photodermatitis
- Rhinitis
- Tail eczema in horses
- Stomatitis
- Toxic hoof corns
- Inflammation of the hooves of cattle
- Paresis during pregnancy
- Puerperal toxemia
- Secondary retention
- Pulmonary oedema in cattle
- Pulmonary emphysema in horses
- Toxic hypopepsia
- Anaphylactic shock
- Laminitis
- Bloat
- Acute septic metritis.
DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-
By I.M or I.V route only.
Large animal : 5-10 ml or more
Small animal : ½ -1 ml or more
Injection may be repeated after 8-12 hours, if necessary.
