Description
Formulated for professional veterinary use within our veterinary liquid injections portfolio, DEXOT is an advanced dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection designed to provide potent anti-inflammatory action, reliable shock support, and comprehensive corticosteroid therapy for livestock and companion animals.
DEXOT contains DEXAMETHASONE SODIUM PHOSPHATE is a synthetic corticosteroid with approximately 25 times the anti-inflammatory potency of naturally occurring cortisol. Corticosteroids such as DEXAMETHASONE are important in normal protein, carbohydrate, and fat metabolism and for their role in controlling inflammation.
COMPOSITION :-
Each ml contains:
Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate
eqv. to Dexamethasone Phosphate
Methylparaben (As preservatives) I.P.
Propylparaben I.P.
Water for Injection I.P.
INDICATION :-
- Anaphylactic
- Septic
- Surgical shock.
- All inflammatory conditions.
- Arthritis and related conditions.
- Pregnancy toxaemia.
- Bovine ketosis.
- Allergic and dermatological conditions.
DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-
By I.M or slow I.V route only.
Cattle & Horses: 4-20 mg daily or 1-5 ml daily.
Calves, Sheep, Goats & Pigs: 2-4 mg daily i.e. 0.5 -1 ml daily.
Dogs & cats: 0.5-2 mg daily i.e. 0.25-0.5 ml daily.
