Formulated for professional veterinary use within our veterinary liquid injections portfolio, ISOFLUDOT is a highly effective isoflupredone acetate injectable corticosteroid designed to support controlled anti-inflammatory therapy and the clinical management of stress or bovine ketosis in livestock.

ISOFLUDOT contains ISOFLUPREDONE ACETATE which is a sterile aqueous suspension. ISOFLUDOT is also found to be safe in pregnant animals. Long-lasting: 48-hour gluconeogenic activity. Increases glucose levels quickly, with levels returning to normal within eight to 24 hours. The product to reach for when glucocorticoid therapy is indicated in the management of stress and bovine ketosis. The only corticosteroid approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use exclusively in large animals, including lactating cattle. No milk withholding required; seven-day pre-slaughter withdrawal.

Isoflupredone Acetate U.S.P.
Water for Injection I.P.

INDICATION :-

• Bovine Ketosis
• Parturient paresis
• Laminitis
• Rheumatoid & traumatic arthritis
• Stiffness
• Dermatitis
• Tendonitis
• Tenosynovitis
• Bursitis
• Myositis
• Inflammatory ocular condition
• Snakebite

DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-
By I.M, Intra-Synovial or Intra-Articular route only.
10 to 20 mg, repeated in 12 to 24 hours if needed.

Cattle & Buffalo : 5 to 10 ml (10 to 20 mg) according to the size of an animal and severity of the condition. The dose may be repeated in 12 to 24 hours if indicated.
Horse : 2.5 to 10 ml
Sheep & Goat : 0.5 to 1 ml / 10 kg of body weight

3’S EFFECT OF ISOFLUDOT :-

SAFER
–> Safe in pregnancy “Non-teratogenic”.
–> No effect on lactation (does not decrease milk production usually associated with steroids). Less immuno-suppression.

SWIFTER
–> Blood glucose level returns to normal within 8 to 24 hours (in cows suffering from ketosis-stress of parturition & high milk production which predisposes to this condition).

STRONGER
–> The glucocorticoid activity is nearly 10 times more than that of Prednisolone (The hyperglycemic effect in both normal & ketotic cattle).
