Formulated for professional veterinary use as part of our veterinary liquid injections category, PRODOT is a highly effective, natural progesterone injectable hormone designed to safely support reproductive management, correct hormonal imbalances, and prevent pregnancy complications in livestock.

PRODOT contains NATURAL PROGESTERONE, well tolerated by animals and no congenital disorders found. Elevates plasma progesterone concentration within the first few hours, but does not get higher than the normal values observed under normal physiological conditions. PROGESTERONE stimulates the growth of mammary alveoli. It is safer than synthetic PROGESTERONE.

ADVANTAGES OF NATURAL PROGESTERONE Vs. SYNTHETIC

1. Being of animal origin is compitable and well tolerated by animals. No incidence of endometrial hyperplacia reported.
2. No increase in growth hormone, no development of mammary nodules hence no mammary tumors.
3. Enlargement of soft tissue of head & neck, overgrowth of skin, elongation of bones, hepatomegaly insulin resistance is avoided.
4. No adrenocortical suppression is seen.
5. Neither delays onset of parturation nor prolongs gestation period.
6. Being natural progesterone, dose is just one third to that of synthetic progesterone.

INDICATION :-

• Failure in Foetal nidation
• Habitual & threatened abortions
• Ovarian cysts
• Nymphomania
• Disfunctional uterine bleeding

DOSE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :-
By I.M route only.

Habitual Abortion :
3 ml after 45 days of pregnancy
(Repeat 4 to 5 doses after 10 days interval)

Repeat Breeding :
3 ml / week for 3 weeks

Vaginal / Uterine Prolapse :
3 ml / day for 2 days

Post Partum Anoestrus :
3 ml
(Repeat after 10 days, if no response)
